The Chamwell Centre Charity was delighted to receive from Cheltenham College £24,000 towards our £5.1million fundraising target. The Prefects chose The Chamwell Centre Charity as their Charity of the Year 2017/18 and raised the majority of the money (over £16,000) by organising a whole school walk up up Leckhampton Hill, where each pupil raised their own sponsorship money.
Another key event was the Jamie Walters Cup match against Radley College, held on neutral ground at Worcester Warriors’ Six Ways Stadium. The Prefects sold match programmes, wrist bands and hosted a raffle, which raised over £2,000.
Grateful thanks to Dr Adam Dunning, Director of Charities at Cheltenham College, all staff, Prefects, pupils and their families for this generous contribution towards our capital appeal.
