Local buses

Stagecoach buses 97 and 98 stop outside the Centre, and travel to and from Gloucester, Cheltenham and Churchdown.

Local train station

Gloucester train station is approximately 2 miles away from the Centre.
Cheltenham Spa train station is approximately 6 miles away for the Centre.

Chamwell Office Hours

Monday to Friday - 9am - 5pm

Centre Facilities - School Term Time

During school term time after school hours the Centre's facilities are open to Chamwell members for clinic, therapy and play sessions. We have lots of afterschool and Saturday inclusive sport activities you can join.

Monday and Thursday - 4pm to 7.30pm

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday - 4pm to 6pm

Saturday - 10am to 5pm

Sunday - 10am to 4pm

Centre Facilities - School Holiday Time

Monday to Friday - 10am to 6pm

Saturday - 10am to 5pm

Sunday - 10am to 4pm

Chamwell Community Cafe

Open to the General Public. Well stocked vending machines providing refreshments are when the cafe kitchen is closed.

Monday - Cafe Kitchen CLOSED

Tuesday to Saturday - 9:00am to 4:00pm

Parking

Free Parking

There is free parking at the Centre, however please do not park in the designated Chamwell Centre parking spaces during the hours of 9:00am - 9:30am and 2:30pm - 3:30pm during term time school hours.

Disabled Access

All floors and facilities within the Centre are wheelchair accessible.

We have:

  • a full range of disabled access toilets on all levels
  • a Changing Places bathroom on the ground floor
  • automatic opening at entrance to the Centre
  • a lift from reception to first floor.
