Welcome to my blog - To all you explorers! I first found out about the Chamwell Centre Charity as I was looking for hydrotherapy facilities in the area. After more research I really admire what they offer to young children and adults with disabilities and learning difficulties.
The centre has therapy and activity workshops to increase quality of life in a fun way, as well as making new friends too.
My initial impression of the centre was really good. The staff are a happy and inviting group of people, with lots of inclusive, creative and engaging ideas for everyone.
The centre itself is a bright and colourful place with a Hydro Pool, Climbing Wall and an open area called The Discovery Zone as well as plenty more.
When I first went to see the centre I just wanted to look around and see what it was all about. However a boccia group was on so I went to join in. That’s when I knew the centre made me feel happy, comfortable familiar and safe.
Finally, since then I’m now a volunteer helping out with activities and ideas for the centre, hopefully running some in the future, it's a great thing to be a part of.
Until next time,
Molly
